This thematic document provides suggestions, references and tools for the construction of trainings on the respect of sexual identities in the professional practice of caregivers, as well as for the reinforcement of the listening and intervention capacities of the caregivers with homosexual and transsexual people. It is part of the program for men who have sex with men (MSM), and lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals (MSM and LBT) of the national plan to combat HIV and STI 2010-2014.
