Like all public policies and development, those aiming at reducing climate change will be more efficient if they include gender equality. The consequences of climate change could have different consequences on women and men, whether in term of social status, their ability to make decisions or access to resources. Women can contribute to the mitigation or the adaptation to the climate change depending on the context. This documents compiles practical tools and training manuals for those involved in the cooperation and international solidarity.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
