This report overviews the consultatiions for the general recommendations of UN WOMEN For Arab States &The Committee on Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW Committee) on women human rights in situations of conflict and post-conflict in the Arab region.It highlights the general context of women human rights in the region, especially after the Arab spring. The information in the report are based on data and figures about gender based violence, access to justice and accountability mechanisms, women participation in conflict prevention and peace building process, the role of civil society organizations, etc.
