Instead of valuing and taking into account the achievements of women in the educational and vocational fields, those responsible for the development of curricula and textbooks reproduce images and stereotypes that enshrine inequalities between women and men, a flagrant contradiction with the aspirations of Tunisian women and with all what they have achieved for gender equality. This report aims to draw the attention of school reform committees to the need to change the image of women in school curricula and textbooks.
