Report on sex education - Responding to youth expectations , building a society of gender equality

20.01.2017 / Created by (EMWF)

Sexuality and intimate and affective relationships are a discovery and a learning process that, at all ages of life, especially among young people, raise many questions and needs. Given the challenges of citizenship, gender equality and health, it is the responsibility of the public authorities to respond to all young people with objective information, without judgment or stereotype, whenever they express the need to get necessary information. Thus, this report identifies tools to improve the evaluation of sex education systems, in addition to the factors that facilitate practical implementation of ad hoc laws, best practices, and most importantly lever of actions to improve the effectiveness and the quality of sex education sessions.
