This paper proposes approaches and tools to build internal capacities on gender issues, and systematize gender mainstreaming in project cycle. It also helps evaluate the "ex post" evaluation and capitalize the experiences that are acquired in the health sector. The sectoral tools proposed in this guide are based on AFD's experience in the field of gender and on good practices among other donors and NGOs.
