Promotion of equal representation of women and men in decision-making has been a core issue for the European Women’s Lobby since it was founded in 1990. For the EWL parity in decision-making is a matter of democratic representation and social progress at the national and European levels. The document is a manifesto containing several recommendations by the EWL in this regard.
