Building on the Paris Climate Accord COP22, this report sets out a series of recommendations to ensure sustainable and inclusive development. The report considers it necessary to promote equitable participatory climate change adaptation between women and men within policies, programs, budgets and financial mechanisms at local, national and international levels. It is also necessary to reduce inequalities linked to gender, age, wealth or origin, and to strengthen the capacities of the most vulnerable populations.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
