The objective of this report is to assess how gender equality provisions, which were guided by two policies documents, are being implemented at the operational level in the UNHCR, and to establish the evidence base to guide UNHCR’s future work on gender equality. The report highlights needs and challenges, as well as promising field practices, and provides recommendations on how to improve gender equality throughout UNHCR’s work.
