This article casts light on the situation of women victims of rape crimes during the Bosnian war. It is based on various interviews with women survivors, it explains how such crimes affect their lives and relationships with their husbands and partners. The article questions the role of men in fighting such crimes, and supporting survivors, stressing out that rape is a crime, not a choice made by its victims.
