This shadow report analyses the legal approaches to the standards of CEDAW in the field of health care in Albania. It gives general information about women´s health situation, and their access to the different health services in the country, The report aims at identifying critical issues based on the progress achieved following the “Concluding Observation on Albania” of the CEDAW Committee in July 2010. The main question is whether the legal framework and the factual situation is in accordance with Article 12 of the CEDAW Convention.
