This study examines how broadly or narrowly women’s well-being is perceived and defined in different cultures and at different life stages, and the role that women play in enhancing their own well-being. The study also considers the ways in which women in different cultures and at different life stages access information, services and products related to their health and well-being, and it looks at government approaches, programmes and strategies to enhance women’s health and well-being.
