The main focus of this report is gender inequality in four main areas: economy, politics, law and media in the United Kingdom. It examines the impact of the economic crisis of 2008 on gender relations and how the austerities in these fields have affected gender equality. The report gives recommendations in order to reduce gendered inequality, with a fairer gendered distribution of power and representation of women in public life.
