This report is a result from a work with Syrian grassroots women’s organisations to collect data, develop drafting skills, improve gender analysis and produce a document that highlights the crimes committed against Syrian women and the disproportionate impact of the armed conflict on them. The analysis was done by Syrian experts, from 10 Syrian NGOs, who have the first-hand experience on the ground. It aims to carry the voices, hopes and concerns of Syrian women to policy makers, international organisations and parties involved in the peace building process.
This report is a joint submission by the following organisations: Badael Foundation - BIHAR Relief Organization - Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD) - Dawlaty - Musawa - Women’s Study Center - Syrian Female Journalists Network - Syrian League for Citizenship - Urnammu - Women Now for Development - Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom
