This report presents the results from a study about women, peace and security in Libya. It seeks to identify priority areas needing urgent attention in the current Libyan crisis, especially with issues related to gender and women´s rights. The study covers three key areas: participation of women in the security sector and political life; violence against women; the protection of women´s political rights and security.
