This is a brochure of a guide in Arabic, designed to introduce a feminist approach to the process of the preparation of a democratic Constitution that includes women’s rights and gender equality. It explains the importance of such approach, especially during political transitions.The guide is the result of a joint work and dialogue between activists and researchers, women and men, from the north and the south of the Mediterranean.It aims to become a tool and a reference for drafters of constitutions and lawyers, practitioners and students, as well as human rights activists. It also addresses general public and local communities, in order to raise awareness about gender equality and women's rights during democratic transitions.
