This report aims to contribute to policy debates on Early Childhood Care and Preschool Education (ECCPE) expansion in Turkey, an issue that has been an emerging policy issue. It has been discussed mostly from the perspective of reducing constraints on female labour supply (and hence addressing the problem of very low female labour force participation) and also from the perspective of supporting child development.
