This study examines how the justice sector in Jordan deals with cases of violence against women (VAW), and what are the factors that determine whether female victims of violence are seeking the legal redress through this system or not. The study used both qualitative approach (through in-depth interviews with eight women victims of violence) and quantitative one. The latter through a questionnaire allowed to the knowledge, attitudes and practices about cases involving VAW from a sample of 163 ‘’justice sector personnel’’.
