This report was produced in the framework of an informative mission about the gender approach in the public spaces  planning. The final report of the fact-finding mission explored the matter with advanced academic research on gender approach applied to studies on space, commitment and actions undertaken by women's groups to give women their rightful place in urban policies, and finally implementing policies concerning gender equality. The report is also intended for students who are interested in urban space (architecture, urban planning, sociology, geography, political science ...).
