The use of explosive weapons in populated areas has particular effects on women’s lives and livelihoods.This report studies these particular impacts and seeks to raise awareness and make recommendations to prevent them. It also highlights the importance of including women in leadership and decision-making roles to confront the challenges posed by explosive weapons use and in working towards resolution of armed conflicts and the establishment of sustainable peace.
