This article discusses the challenge women face to access to leadership position and full political participation, after the Arab Spring 2011. It emphasizes the reforms effort needed to enhance this participation, such as: 1) mending election laws; 2) increasing high-level employment opportunities and 3) using public education to highlight the role of women and counter perceptions of traditional gender roles.
