This article casts light on the status of Arab women in the MENA region after the uprisings of 2011. It discusses about the low political representation of women in the transition process, the increasing violence against women, the effect of regional chaos, the rise of extremism towards women and their constitutional rights in the region. It also marks the importance on the role women are playing in the region and their ongoing fight for greater right in spite all of the obstacles.
