This report presents the proceedings of the regional strategic roundtable titled “Women’s Participation: The Making of the Tunisian Constitution”. It brought together gender and constitutional law experts from Tunisia and the MENA region to discuss key provisions of the draft of the Tunisian Constitution and its impact on gender equality. It served as a catalyst to gather disparate groups, in order to guarantee the participation of women, in sketching a new Tunisian Constitution that guarantees gender equality and respects women´s rights.
