The book is a result of a research project about trafficking in women for labour exploitation in domestic work. It addresses the issue of trafficking in women for forced labour in Spain, Cyprus and Greece, focusing on Lithuania as a country of origin of migrant domestic workers. The study uses a human rights and gender sensitive approach, based on a qualitative research. It considers that the issue of migrant domestic workers is still left out of many policy framework, aspect which makes migrant female domestic workers invisible victims of violence and exploitation. The book aims to be of use to academia, civil society organizations and policymakers.
