This guide is designed to provide young women leaders with basic tools and skills, in order to start taking actions into their communities. It focuses on building confidence to participate, enhancing capacities to lead, and making connections to succeed. This guide, in great part, is a result of the “Youth of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow” initiative, a year-long program focused on community engagement, networking and peer mentoring. The idea of the guide was elaborated with the advice and experiences of 25 young women activists, from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia, who participated in the program.
