This report highlights some of the initiatives of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN women) during the year 2014-2015. The report provides summary financial statements, a list of new programs and projects, and contact information. The report defines priority areas of intervention, such as: parity in politics; making economies work for women; putting an end to violence against women and girls; women´s humanitarian needs; accounting for women in national plans and budgeting among others.
