This is a study about the role of women in society, after the Arab uprisings of late 2010, in which women played their parts as leaders and participants. The study is based on reports conducted by teams of researchers in Egypt, Morocco, the occupied Palestinian territory and Yemen, in addition to a regional synthesis.The study explains the main trends concerning women´s rights in MENA region, as well as the challenges and opportunities for women´s rights organizations and activists. The study also includes recommendations to: national policy makers; Women´s Rights Organizations; and international donors and development NGOs.
