The report arises from the holding of a conference in 2010 on the topic of promoting gender equality in Lebanese political parties with a focus on the experiences of young women within them. This report, examines the extent to which women are currently involved in politics in Lebanon, as well as the opportunities for increasing their involvement. The report presents various perspectives from national and international experts, as well as an analysis of interviews with Lebanese youth, in which they reflect their hopes, concerns and ideas for improving gender equality in politics in the future.
