The papers in this report represent the findings of a conference on Advocating women´s political Participation in transition which took place in Rabat in November 2012. It documents the status of women in decision making in the post-Arab spring context and highlights the struggles and successes of women in public service in the MENA region. The papers are written by the regional experts who took part in the Rabat conference: Morocco’s leading women parliamentarians, ministers, public servants, and a network of well-known women civic leaders heading transitional justice efforts in the Arab region.
