This report analyses in depth the liability of the Danish government in the implementation of the commitments included in the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Violence Against Women (CEDAW) from 1979. Each chapter corresponds to different parts of the Convention, including political measures, special measures, roles stereotyped by gender and prejudices, political and public life, rural women, equality concerning the law, marriage, and family life. It should be noted that Danish NGOs working in the field of gender equality were invited to enrich the report with their comments, which are at the end of the document.
