This report offers an overview of the situation of women's rights and gender equality in Palestine. It introduces the main actors and provides information on the status of women in economic, educational, healthcare, political, legal and cultural fields. Despite some progress, women activists must continue to fight against the dual oppression of the Israeli occupation and patriarchal control to ensure gender equality in Palestine.
