This publication presents the conclusions of a survey conducted between 2006 and 2008 among men and women members of parliament on the factors that determines decision-making. It asked 272 MPs from 110 countries about their opinion on access to political life. It features different strategies used by MPs to achieve gender equality in political life and contributes ideas to make this target group aware of gender differences.
