The No. 326 of the Charter of the French Economic Observatory (OFCE) - Sciences Po Centre of Research on Economy focuses on the place of women in the civil service. The author provides data concerning the percentage of women in managerial positions in the state civil administrations to argue that the professional equality policy must start at the level of the central state, which must teach by example.
