The manual forms part of the regional programme "Enhancing Equality between Men and Women in the Euromed Region" (EGEP). It seeks to build journalists' capacity to promote a balanced and non-stereotyped image of women. Through modules adapted to the Mediterranean framework, a glossary of terms, a bibliography and evaluation charts, it seeks to consolidate a representative core of women and men journalists committed to advocating gender equality at a regional scale. The manual provides keys to analyse the media discourse on women and their rights at a political, cultural, socioeconomic and religious level.
