This report analyses the situation of women in Egypt, emphasizing the issues of education and employment linked to the tourism and new ICT sectors. It addresses the following questions: What is the potential of these two sectors for employment and income generation for women? How do different types of education impact on women’s employment in these two sectors? The report examines the reasons for the participation of young women trained in jobs linked to these two sectors and seeks to identify how to increase women' s presence in these two sectors.
