02.06.2015 / Created by (EMWF)

Based on the fact that despite the high rates of educated women the female presence in decision-making spheres is limited in certain countries, this brochure examines the correlation between the integration of women in the economy and their participation in political life. Through indicators linked to female professional activity, political measures and recommendations aimed at increasing the integration of women in all sectors of economic activity, this document shows that economic participation is a determining variable for entry into political life and engagement.
