Issue no. 448 of the journal Population & Societies analyses the family support policies through the use of the Organisation for Cooperation and Economic Development (OECD) database on this subject. Based on the realization that fertility – the number of children that women give birth to – varies from single to double figures from one developed country to another, the document seeks to establish a link between family policies of the developed countries and the gaps detected.
