This study deals with the issue of discrimination in the labour market based on several criteria notably related to migrant or second generation women. Multicriteria discrimination as an object of knowledge and contributions to knowledge is an issue pending further exploration both by social and research actors. By combining a quantitative and qualitative approach, the study analyses the legal framework, the national and European plans, as well as the experiences of several women or second generation migrants or those seen as such.
This platform is part of the Axis 1 "Strengthening the capacities of equality actors" of the Priority Solidarity Fund "Women for the future in the Mediterranean" funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean, in the framework of the project “Developing Women's Empowerment” labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.
