Prepared by the Jordan NGOs working in favour of women' s rights, this monitoring report details the fields of government intervention that do not respect the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW, 1979). The report, noting that the prevalence of violence against women is an enormous challenge for the Jordan government, issues recommendations to improve the protection of legal women' s rights and security in the country.
