This fifth edition of the publication "Women and Men in Spain" provides a summary of the most pertinent indicators in the social, economic and political fields with a view to enhancing awareness of gender differences in society. This publication seeks to measure the differences in access to and use of resources, to assess the progress regarding pay levels, employment and education and to study the changes in family structures and types of households, and to identify the living conditions of women and men in terms of population, crime and violence, power and decision-making.
