29.05.2015 / Created by (EMWF)

In July 2008 the Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research was commissioned by the government to set up a programme called JÄMI to support government agencies in their work on gender mainstreaming. The objective of this report is to present the conclusions and recommendations of the JÄMI programme in English emphasizing the most useful findings from an international perspective. First, the report provides an overall view of the international and Swedish framework for gender policies and strategies and later focuses on the findings and impacts of the temporary programme.
