This study examines the representation of women on corporate boards in the United Kingdom and issues a series of recommendations aimed at increasing the number of women on the boards, for instance, by encouraging the FTSE companies (100 best British listed companies in London) to increase the proportion of women on the boards by 25% by 2015. The report also indicates that the companies must establish concrete objectives so that the most deserving women can access the best positions in the United Kingdom companies.
