The present compendium is conceived to help policy-makers and programme leaders to integrate non-discrimination and equality in the production, implementation and assessment of their policies in all their initiatives and all fields (markets and public expenditure, drafting of laws or actions plans, etc.). To this end, the document proposes guidelines and introduces a wide range of examples of practices from diverse EU Member States at a national, regional and local level.
