This study examines the issue of gender parity in boardrooms in publicly-traded companies and describes the initiatives carried out in 17 countries to encourage the presence of a larger number of women in boardrooms, such as the implementation of legal quotas. The report also presents the view of three women, members of boardrooms. Each of them expresses her feelings about the progress achieved in terms of diversity in the boardroom and the measures taken by the enterprises in this respect.
