The report addresses the status of both migrant domestic workers and migrant workers in Qualified Industrial Zones (QIZ). These two groups are particularly vulnerable for legislative reasons, administrative practices and the actions of their employers. It introduces the legal framework governing the migrant workers' rights in Jordan, while shedding light on the gap between legal texts and their application. The study also describes the abusesof female migrant domestic workers, such as the confiscation of their passport, psychological, physical or sexual violence, work hours, denial of holidays and restrictions to their freedom of movement.
