Education for Development and Citizenship: How to Integrate Gender in its Actions?

This pedagogic guide aims tostrengthen the capacities of the agents working in the sector of international solidarity to integrate gender in their advocacy, education and development cooperation projects. Thus, this document seeks to facilitate understanding of the mechanisms of power and domination at the root of the types of discrimination that keep women in an unfavourable position and hinder their participation in development. It puts forward different methodological tools (concepts, analysis grids, etc.) to explore in depth the mechanisms of exclusion that engender unequal relations in the North and the South between men and women.
