This booklet describes the condition of women in the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS in French). It gives an account of the respective situations of women and men in each of the professional categories in terms of manpower distribution, recruitment, promotion, mobility, retirement and distinctions, but also of pay and labour conditions (working hours, training…). It also addresses the portrayal of women and men in the managerial bodies and the personnel' s representative bodies.
