The intersections of various inequalities impact the lives of Amazigh women in Morocco. This work deals with the situation of special vulnerability that these Amazigh women live: by being women, indigenous and rural. And it is that patriarchy, racism and classism intersect, weaving a construct of oppression.
But along with making visible and denouncing the situation of vulnerability of Amazigh women, we also want to value the contributions of these women to the development of their communities, the well-being of their families and the sustainability of life.
Through the recognition of their identity, and from their historical-cultural legacy, these women are moving from vulnerability to empowerment. The agency of Amazigh women and their resistance are a source of learning and inspiration for the construction of cultures to make peace.
