The Community Media Center (CMC) has published a series of testimonies, in the format of short stories, of women living in Palestine and suffering different types of violence. Hadeel Gharbawy, Sahar Alnahaal, Raghda Madi, Hana Abu Quta, Hayaa Bishabash, and Hadeel Farhat opened up to CMC’s public by telling their touching personal experiences of domestic violence, rape, forced marriages, women’s trafficking, consanguineous marriages, and early marriages.
The aim of these eight different stories is to give visibility to these women which have long been neglected and to amend the national laws for women’s rights to be truly protected. Women must be able to live in a society without fear, anywhere in the world.
