The Foundation’s trilingual platform (in French, English and Arabic) is conceived as an online network of networks, so that all gender equality actors in the Euro-Mediterranean region engage in dialogue and work together: https://www.euromedwomen.foundation.
In addition, due to the dispersed knowledge on gender equality, the Foundation’s platform provides access to the contents of its Documentary Centre, which clearly lists, synthesizes, analyzes and disseminates documents and best practices on equality through the region; as well as a series of specific resources for equality actors (bibliographies, websites, specialized newsletters, etc.).
Therefore, the Foundation is characterised by its local rooting and it relies on the expertise of local and field actors. In a resolutely innovative way, the Foundation seeks to break down barriers among associations, academia, institutions, business and media. By strengthening the vision of local actors, it takes into consideration the grassroots reality at the highest levels.
The Foundation’s Platform becomes the place of reference for knowledge, practices and, above all, networking of gender equality actors. It thus contributes to creating a common and collective culture of equality. On behalf of the Euro-Mediterranean Women’s Foundation, we hope that the Platform will be useful to all those involved in achieving women’s rights and their development in society.
